My Style Evolution
My style has evolved a great deal. When I was a child I attended private school. I wore a uniform and typically, expressed myself through stylish shoes and accessories. When I attended college, my taste grew quite a bit. I typically shopped at discount chains and found amazing pieces which were not really cohesive with one another. After college, I decided to use celebrities stylists to style me. I picked out pictures of outfits I loved and copied them at my favorite stores. Now, I realize each phase of my style evolution can be used to dress the more mature, experienced me. I stick to my classic/conservative uniform while adding amazing made pieces and taking hints from a few style icons along the way.
My vision for A Polished Lifestyle is personal refinement. In an age where more is more, I want to display that looking and living the very best can be done with minimal. I want to have it all while wasting little time, energy, and money. My vision developed as I became more interested in other blogs. Typically viewing a blog from the very beginning to the end, you discover the writing is more inviting, the pictures are more clear, the content is more professional, and the blogger is more amazing. This is the goal for my lifestyle. By shopping less but relying on key quality pieces, research, craftsman tailoring and design, and consistent maintenance, I plan on polishing my lifestyle and documenting it here.
My commitment to a polish lifestyle will include regular updates. Follow me as I polish my lifestyle.....and yours. I look forward to your comments and suggestions along the journey as I prove style lives above pay grades and designers.

My symphony...too!
To live content with small means, to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion, to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich, to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly, to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart, to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never, in a word to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common, this is to be my symphony.
